Reducing Motor Vehicle Crashes
The Task Force represents a diverse cross-section
of the community including citizens, government officials, law
enforcement, business, health professionals, prevention and treatment
specialists, faith-based organizations, and others. The executive board
is appointed by the Big Horn County Commissioners, and charged with the
mission of promoting a healthier and safer environment for county
residents by reducing the number of alcohol-related traffic crashes
through public education, awareness, faith-based community involvement,
legislative and enforcement strategies.

The Task Force was established by the Big Horn
County Commissioners with Resolution 2007-29 on June 14, 2007. The
Montana Dept. of Transportation approval came September 25, 2007.
The Task Force meets the third Wednesday of each
month, at 2 p.m., in Room 301, third floor, of the Big
Horn County Courthouse, 121 W. 3rd,
Hardin, MT 59034
